It’s been just over a year since Spire’s first move ins and our building was named “Seattle’s High Rise Residential Development of the Year”. Now 60% sold with more than 200 sales, there’s plenty to celebrate. Our building continues to get recognized by the real estate and construction industries for quality design and thoughtful construction. In 2022 Spire was awarded LEED Gold certification. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence. Shortly following, Spire was awarded Residential Best Projects Award of Merit by Engineering News-Record recognizing quality work. (A big thank you to our partners at Holmberg Mechanical who performed full mechanical on the building.) The 2022 Lutron Excellence Award for the Best Resimercial Project was also awarded to Spire – thanks to our partners at Wipliance for their work installing over 3700 Lutron Electronics shades as well as a full suite of luxury automation amenities. This design project has been featured in Connected Design Magazine, and Wipliance continues to work with Spire homeowners today to further enhance their residences with home automation solutions.
Widely recognized by industry peers and partners, Spire has certainly maintained a winning streak year after year, but perhaps the most meaningful wins are the words and photos we receive from homeowners who have moved in and are enjoying home at Spire:

“Some of the things I love about Spire include the views! They’re spectacular, especially overlooking the Space Needle. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. The gym is rarely busy and well supplied and the new bistro is a great spot to grab a cuppa or a glass of wine at the end of the day. The parking system is very spiffy! But the best thing about Spire is our concierges, especially Chef Concierge, Russell!”, says Spire homeowner, Stephen L.

Now that Spire has become an active community welcoming more residents home each month, let’s take a look back at the year in-review. Here are some fun tid-bits!
Welcome home. There’s been 152 scheduled moves since Spire opened in 2021, which doesn’t include unscheduled moves. We’ve averaged about 19 moves per month during the most intense period of move-ins – that’s 19 new neighbors every month!
You’ve got mail! From Aug 2021 to today, there have been a total of 22,693 package deliveries in Luxer One – that’s 1512/month or 378/week!
Our building has the amenities that’ll wow any pet-parent, including a pet park on Level 41 called The Hydrant. To date, our latest count of pets welcomed home to Spire was at 55.
Speaking of amenity spaces, with five floors of common spaces Spire has some of the best in Seattle featuring everything from the Level 1 concierge and Himalayan Java Café to co-working spaces with private offices and conference room on Level 3. There’s also a movement studio, pet wash, Spire Club and Private Dining, fitness studio, theater and more. Residents love all the added space within the building that has been carefully curated to maximize a well-balanced life. In the past year alone, there have been a total of 181 amenity reservations!
On the move. The first in Seattle to offer automated parking, on average, Spire’s APS takes 3 minutes park a vehicle and 4 minutes to retrieve a vehicle. Since September 1, 2021 the APS has moved a vehicle 37,600 times!
As we wrap up the year, we want to take a moment to thank you for joining us in this journey. Wishing each of you a very happy New Year from all of us at Spire!
