Spire introduces a first-look into the pinnacle of luxury living in Seattle with its new penthouse video. Combining indoor and outdoor living with graciously proportioned spaces, elevated craftsmanship and breathtaking panoramic views, the video illustrates what daily life might look like gracing the Seattle skies from inside a home on Level 39.
The highly anticipated penthouse collection was launched over the summer with nine residences that highlight views of the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound and the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Three model homes, designed by the award-winning interior design and art curation firm AubreyMaxwell, made their debut. One of the models quickly sold fully-furnished – a testament to the appealing aesthetic of the model design! Just eight penthouse residences remain for purchase at Spire. Two of these are penthouse models that are now available for prospective buyers to tour and dream of life on Level 39.
Inspired by the incredible views of the water, the landscape and the ever-changing sky, AubreyMaxwell designed each space to honor that view of the outside environment as a key part of the experience of each home. Collaborating with artist and furniture maker Jonathan Anzalone, the design team created a series of four unique pieces for Spire’s three penthouse model home interiors.

Reclaimed Douglas Fir timbers in their natural color were used in the design of a large coffee table which was paired with a B&B Italia sofa designed by Patricia Urquiola.
“Our intention was to infuse raw nature into the space in sculptural form, and to add the impact of a one-of-a-kind custom piece in the central living area” says Robbie McMillan, Owner / Lead Designer & Art Advisor of AubreyMaxwell.
Designing three homes in the Spire penthouse collection, each with a different character profile for the imagined residents, a neutral palette and modern lines help to define the serene environment of one home designed with a fashionable mature couple in mind. Next door, the homeowners love to entertain in spaces enlivened by colorful walls and a somewhat retro vibe. And in the third home, a young family celebrates life with friends in their casual contemporary style with warm modern accents.
“All three homes were designed in unison to help illustrate the diverse range of ways to live at Spire, a crossroads for everyone that calls Seattle home,” says Robbie McMillan.
“Our design ethos is all about intention and connection. Every decision we make must first address a necessary intention in the design of a space. Intention in the functional flow of how a body moves through and exists in a space. Intention in the way we interact with the architecture and leave room for the enjoyment of art. And then connection layers on to the more rational aspects of intention. Incorporating objects, materials and art that possess individual power. Only allowing pieces into the design which draw the eye, invite the body and delight the spirit.”
