spire slu saturday market spotlight

Spire is placed at the epicenter of life and extraordinary experiences, including Seattle’s favorite Saturday Public Market. The South Lake Union Saturday Market is open from 11am to 4pm every Saturday through September 18. Adjacent to Denny Park and the SLU Discovery Center in the heart of South Lake Union neighborhood, this vibrant weekly farmers’ market will feature a variety of stalls for fresh produce, street food and local artisans.

SLU Market has teamed up with neighbors just a block North including Gold Bar, Jack’s BBQ, Thomas St Warehouse, Elm Coffee Roasters, and 9th & Thomas for an outdoor oasis all summer long. Guests are able to enjoy this 2 blocks of fun while staying socially-distanced outdoors. SLU Market is also bringing some of Seattle’s favorite vintage shops to pop-up this summer for Saturday retail therapy.

Some upcoming events that we are looking forward to during SLU Saturday Markets are:

Etymology Market Pop-Up ( Seattle Art), June 26. Seattle’s vibrant local art scene spotlight with a new monthly pop-up of jewelry, ceramics, illustration, home goods, apparel. Discover emerging artist to inspire your home or for the perfect gift.

Food Truck Round-Up, July 10. Food Pop-Ups return curbside starting in July with @mobilefoodrodeo delicious Truck Round-Up! Catch a fun monthly rotation of our city’s food trucks.

SLUM Flea Market Pop-Up, July 17. Retail Therapy at its best! Join the South Lake Union Market every 3rd Saturday with the best vintage clothing. Choose from over 20 vintage boutiques curbside.

Sweet Tooth Pop-Up, July 24. Seattle’s favorite sweet purveyors return for a sugar-tastic pop-up curbside for a fun outdoor food hall experience of food trucks, pop-ups and more.

Plants & Pots Pop-Up, July 31. Some of city’s favorite artists are coming together to bring a selection of indoor plants with decorative pots and more for your home.

We’ve enjoyed treats from Oso Negro Baking Co, The Mediterranean, The Seattle Barkery as well as Seattle’s favorite food trucks like Poke To The Max, Theo’s Gyros, Alexandra’s Macarons in the VW bus, bites from Paella House, Seeking Kombucha, and much more.

Shop, brunch, drink, and relax while supporting small businesses at Seattle’s favorite public market showcasing local chef pop-ups, food trucks, snacks and processors that are irresistibly delicious.

This Saturday market is the best kept secret in SLU! I love the variety of vendors at this fair, they range from cuisines from different countries, to different jewelry vendors, humans bakeries, flower vendors and even dog bakeries. Definitely swing by if you are in the area. It’s right next to Denny Park too so you can snag a grassy spot to enjoy the food and people watch!” – Michelle M. Yelp
