Step inside the Spire Club, a sophisticated social space on Level 40. Professionally decorated by the award-winning designers at IMG, hand-selected furnishings include plenty of comfortable seating and low tables to host friends, mix with neighbors and take in expansive Seattle skyline and Puget Sound views in a relaxed setting. Modern art, pops of color and architectural sculpture dot the room with interest, juxtaposed to a neutral backdrop of furnishings. Outfitted with a wet bar, wine fridge, sink, and ice maker, it’s the perfect space for hosting any event.
For those who like to entertain, an indoor-outdoor space is ideal. The Spire Club, which is located between the spacious SLU and City View Terraces, offers just that. Guests can spill out of the room to enjoy al fresco dining, nightcaps over the Sound and some star gazing. The larger SLU Terrace wraps around the north/northwest side of Spire to enjoy views of Lake Union, the Space Needle and Puget Sound, while the City View Terrace, facing southwest, offers stunning city and Puget Sound views, as well as beautiful living wall. View it for yourself! Take a 3D tour of Level 40 here.
Here are six ways we enjoy the extended living space at Spire:
A favorite among residents to host holiday parties, Spire Club makes a great space to entertain any formal event in a casual setting. Start here with cocktail hour and move to Spire’s Private Dining for dinner. The space serves up a stunning backdrop year-round, but in summer the SLU Terrace beckons guests to step outside and catch the 4th of July fireworks over South Lake Union. It’s the perfect cookout scene with expansive seating for up to 24 friends.
Bring your favorite barware, bottles, and ingredients to the Spire Club. Task the mixologist among your group to hand-craft seasonal cocktails for sipping as the sun sets over the Puget Sound and the city lights up. This space rivals any rooftop bar with its unique Seattle views! Step out on the adjoining City View Terrace to enjoy more sweeping views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound under the open sky. It’s the perfect spot for cocktails with friends.
Meetups and Mixers
Perhaps you’re building an app. Maybe you’re interested in blockchain, or you’re looking to meet other entrepreneurs. Form a common interest club and meetup mere steps from your home. Spire’s Club is an ideal space for professional networking groups to connect and get social on a regular basis.
Book Club/Game Night
Luxury residential high-rises that cater to social clubs are on trend. Create your own group and gather monthly. Spire’s Club room offers comfy sofas and low chairs to spend hours discussing the latest chapter in your Book Club, a popular True Crime podcast or time spent knitting with neighbors. Situated along the window walls, seating, and a table for two calls for a game of chess or your favorite deck of cards. The City View Terrace just off the Spire Club offers an outdoor table for four, bar seating to take in those incredible city and Puget Sound views, plus two additional BBQs to enjoy an intimate cookout.
Just because it’s called a club doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy it alone! This space is a popular choice for residents to bring a laptop or sketchbook and channel some fresh creative energy in an open space with some in[Spire]d views! Insider tip: Directly off the club room is Spire’s City View Terrace with seating and a living wall, a more intimate terrace and popular spot to have conference calls.
Spire Club has seen its share of birthday parties and baby showers. Recently, the lovely space even hosted an engagement party after a proposal on our rooftop. She said yes!
