Discover In[Spire]d Living with Madelyn Jacklin

Spire’s striking architecture enhances the Seattle skyline while offering a dynamic and welcoming pedestrian environment at the building’s base. Designed to embrace the juxtaposition of natural beauty and technology, this collection of 343 condominiums is located within the heart of Downtown Seattle. Step inside the building and let us introduce you to part of the Spire Team, Madelyn Jacklin, our Project Coordinator.

Madelyn’s Seattle roots run deep. Her parents were both very immersed in the Seattle restaurant scene during her childhood, introducing her to a lot of amazing food and local chefs dedicated to their craft. She’s a self-proclaimed foodie and even dreams of owning her own Seattle-based restaurant one day, so if you’re in need a local recommendation, Madelyn is a sure bet. “Seattle is such a fun city to live in and has so many great restaurants and awesome activities to take part in. One of my all-time favorite things to do is dine out.”

I love 2120 which is a short walk from Spire. They have super unique cocktails and a seasonal menu that always has plenty of choices for everyone’s taste. For weekend brunch, I highly recommend Oddfellows on Capitol Hill. This has been a brunch staple of mine for years, their Croque Madam is my favorite, of course paired with a mimosa and oat milk latte.”

During her favorite Seattle season, summer, you’ll find Madelyn on a paddle board somewhere on Lake Washington after work. She takes her winter walks through the Olympic Sculpture Park or up on Queen Anne around Highland Drive and Kerry Park.

“The best thing about living in Seattle is the versatility that the city offers. You can go for a walk along the water, head out for a hike, or have drinks on a rooftop 40 floors above the city all on one day.”

We asked this Seattle native what she loves most about her job at Spire:

“Well, other than getting to work in Seattle’s most beautiful building everyday – I love the team that I am a part of and that we get to help tailor our client’s needs into the home that will fit their must-haves and style best. Finding a new home is such an exciting process and I feel lucky to be a part of so many 1st, 2nd, sometimes 10th home purchases for clients!”

The building celebrates intelligent design, connectivity and convenience for an effortless and meaningful life.  As part of the Spire team, we asked Madelyn to share her favorite building amenity and model residence.

Spire Club claims top spot as Madelyn’s favorite amenity space at Spire:

“I love the Spire Club. It is such an elegant space and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, get work done, or even a cocktail after work! The view of the city from the massive windows across the club make it easy to sit there for hours looking out at Puget Sound or all throughout downtown.”

The architecture responds to the unique local character of the Belltown neighborhood. The bold design maximizes breathtaking, unobstructed views of the waterfront, skyline and beyond.

What are people most surprised to find when they tour Spire?

“I think people are very surprised by the amount of space that our homes offer as well as what a great utilization of space they have. The huge amounts of built-in storage, oversized islands for cooking and entertaining, and of course details like our walls of windows and paneled appliances make Spire’s homes extremely unique. There are so many little touches that many people don’t think make a huge difference, but when it comes down to it, I think make our homes many buyers’ top choice.”

The one-bedroom plus den layout is a top pick to tour among the model homes:

“My favorite Spire model residence is our one bedroom and den layout. It has this massive island that makes the kitchen a chef’s dream while overlooking a spacious living and dining space. The den offers a great office space, second bedroom, or even a combination of both. You don’t see many homes in Seattle that give so much space for a den, especially one with a closet. I think it is such a great utilization of space and cannot get over how much storage the home provides.”

The condominium residences celebrate iconic views of the skyline and Seattle waterfront through floor-to-ceiling windows, 9-to-10-foot ceiling heights and thoughtfully placed balconies in many residences. Designed to emphasize the connection to the outdoors, the residences feature nature-inspired materials and finishes that offer a peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday living.

Spire offers a unique opportunity to live in one of Seattle’s most culturally significant neighborhoods while also living in close proximity to Amazon’s headquarters and the waterfront.
