Spire recently threw a Puparazzi Pawty on Level 40 of our Seattle skyscraper. Tails were wagging, jaws were dropping and the Fur-amily Portrait Day, which included a pair of Ragdoll cats, was a resounding success! Nearly 40 attendees mixed and mingled while enjoying Italian wine and light (human) fare provided by Cittavino & Co. with specialty pet treats provided by The Seattle Barkery, which has a retail store on 8th Avenue in our neighborhood.
Local brokers and fellow pet lovers were invited to a mini photo session pop-up at Spire with Rina from Say Woof, a Seattle-based pet photography studio located in South Lake Union mere minutes from Spire. Perfectly timed just before the holidays, guests were able to get complimentary portraits done to add to seasonal merriment. Furthering all the warm feels, hiring Say Woof means doing good and giving back as the studio donates 10% of profits to help fulfill the needs of local shelters in Seattle.
In all, Say Woof completed 18 fur-amily portrait sessions. Fur-amilies also jotted down pets’timonials sharing pet introductions and what pets love about Spire and their favorite local spots. Here’s a sampling from some of our fine guests:
Henry, a 7-year-old Golden Retriever who is best known for his loyalty and love of tennis balls was really impressed with Spire’s views. If you’re looking to share a sniff with Henry, you can often find him at Edmonds Dog Beach or Golden Gardens Park. Benny the Boxer, just 2-years old, is known for being quite bouncy. He’s not a fan of waiting or sitting but loves a good banana or tennis ball. Above all, he found the Spire rooftop quite impressive and looks forward to bouncing into a friend at a nearby dog park or one of the many neighborhood café patios. Marlow, the Border Terrier is a wide-eyed 5-month year old who joined us for jaw-dropping views and the delicious dog treats, of course. Some of Marlow’s favorite spots include Alki Beach, Bellevue Park and Burke Gilman Trail. A huge fan of cuddles, Miso, a 4-year-old Golden Doodle dropped by to mix with Spire’s friendly staff and its plenty of fur friends. A fan of salmon and dropping the occasional hashtag like #misohappy, you may just find Miso in South Lake Union or at Pike Place Public Market.
We’d like to congratulate the winners of The Seattle Barkery gift card raffle:
Lady Olivia and Harvey, Ragdoll Cats
Canon, Mini Poodle
Monty, Long-hair Dachshund
Timber, Australian Labradoodle
Toto, Golden Doodle Service Dog
During the event, Spire sales staff kept busy with prospective buyers and Brokers looking at our pet-friendly building and outstanding amenities. Between Spire’s on-site pet wash station and the Level 41 Hydrant Pet Comfort Area there’s truly no other community that caters to canines the way Spire does. With Denny Park, Seattle Barkery, Say Woof, and so many pet friendly neighborhood spots within walking distance, Spire’s neighborhood is a pup paradise.
