Spring is making a very welcome return to Seattle, and with it comes ample opportunity to explore the array of adventures the Emerald City has to offer. In this 2-Part workshop, Kate Hailey will share inspiration and techniques during an online presentation.

 

Catch a concert at the Climate Pledge Arena, where an iconic roof stands nobly against the Olympic Mountains, less than a mile from Spire. Get your groove on with rapper Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour on March 10, Tim McGraw on March 29, Justin Timberlake on May 2, and Pearl Jam on May 28 & 30.

 

Let your imagination set sail at the Center for Wooden Boats by assembling your very own toy boat during the Toy Boat Building on March 14. After selecting your wooden boat hull, learn how to use hand tools to construct the design of your rigging. Decorate your boat using recycled materials provided by CWB such as material for sails, stamps, stickers, corks, and more. When your boat is complete, test it out in the model boat pond in Lake Union Park.

 

More March fun includes the (MoPOP) Power of Pop Culture Opening and the St. Patrick’s Irish Festival on March 16 at Kells in Seattle’s Post Alley. Mark your calendar for Taste Washington on March 16-17. Over 200 top wineries, 75 renowned restaurants, and exciting attractions like Bubbles & Bingo await. Dive into tastings, pairings, and live chef demos, mingling with experts and fellow enthusiasts at nearby Lumen Field.

 

Celebrate the first day of spring at Pike Place Market during the 27th Annual Daffodil Day. There’s no better symbol to welcome the arrival of spring than yellow, white, and orange daffodils. On March 19, head to Pike Place Market to pick up a free bundle of fragrant daffodils to bring home to Spire.

 

On March 30 you can celebrate the arrival of Spring next to the Space Needle during the Seattle Color Festival or spread springtime cheer as you bar hop around downtown Seattle during the BunnyCon Easter Bar Hop.

 

Cruise on Lake Union and Lake Washington while dining on a hand-crafted four-course meal thoughtfully paired with ciders from Seattle Cider Co. during the Cider Pairing Cruise with Seattle Cider Co. on April 5.
